Behind the Grain
Wood from a tree, maybe a limb, piece of firewood, or rough-cut lumber, that is where the process begins.
The material is selected, then gradually worked, cut, planed, and shaped, transforming over time from raw material into finished object.
Every species of tree has its own leaf, with its own shape. Each leaf at The Laser Leaf is crafted in that shape using wood from its tree of origin.
Below, explore the process of turning wood into a finished laser cut leaf.
